QDM knows that having quality data and analysis is only one component quality improvement-healthcare systems need to be able to identify and implement results-oriented strategies. All QDM training sessions are custom designed to meet the specific training needs of each client. Our training curriculum includes:

  • How to make meaning out of data, using various analytic models
  • How to initiate and sustain a successful improvement process
  • How to build and sustain effective teams
  • How to establish or enhance the structures that support and sustain quality and process improvement
  • How to coach others to do the work for themselves
Quality and Process Improvement Coaching
Coaching is a powerful method for supporting desired changes at all levels of an organization. QDM's signature style coaching:
  • Builds from a system of inquiry that allows individuals and teams to discover their best and then works from a position of the customer's strengths, not their weaknesses.
  • Focuses on asking the right questions that the client may not have explored yet that moves them forward quickly, as opposed to always providing the answers
  • Increases the customer's problem solving skills,
  • Provides structure, support and feedback, staying with the customer to help develop and implement new skills and to support follow through.
QDM also works with customers to help them develop "peer coaching" models that help ensure that coaching becomes a core competency for how an organization goes about doing improvement work.
